Do you think you have had a premonition before? How can someone know something is about to happen even before it does? Could it be an event that is paranormal or maybe it is just feelings that we get if things are not exactly right? Premonitions are not believed in by scientists. They only believe in things that they can prove to be facts. They know that there have been reports of people that have had knowledge of events or have had feelings about things prior to it occurring.
Do We See the Future?
Ian Stevenson, a biochemist in Canada and a psychiatry professor, has a very prominent example of recordings of premonitions. Two weeks prior to the Titanic devastation he was able to record over nineteen different premonitions from his patients. Each premonition included something like visions of people canceling their trips because they felt that something bad was going to happen and even some dreams that people had of the actual disaster.
Nearly every person that has had a premonition has said that it was not pleasant at all. They tend to come with a terrible feeling of fear and an overwhelming sense of being uneasy regarding the coming events. It is common for people to know that something bad is about to occur but not know enough to make a difference.
Premonitions occur much more often than most people understand. The subject of the premonition is typically surrounding something or someone that will affect you. The premonitions come about in multiple ways. It is sometimes a dream, sometimes a feeling. It is sometimes called a sixth sense.
The premonitions that are seen or felt are often surrounding a death, a murder, a plane crash, a robbery, or an accident. The incident happens, typically, within a few hours of the premonition. Is this really something that we cannot believe is happening? People throughout history have been the victim of ridicule because they believe something that most feel is impossible. Do you think that people actually believed that a man would be on the moon at some point? If someone would have brought up the idea in times prior to it happening they would have been thought of as crazy.
How Do You Explain These Premonitions?
Should things be automatically dismissed because they simply do not fit within the way that we think? There have been many different recordings of premonitions in history. Abraham Lincoln actually had a premonition about himself dying. Only ten days prior to dying he had a dream that he was mourning with people in the East Wing in the White House. He turned to a solider to ask who had died and the soldier said it was the president.
Have you heard about the book that was written in 1898, Futility, or the Wreck of the Titan? This book was written 14 years before the disaster of the Titanic. The book was about a ship called the Titan, which sank in the North Atlantic. The ship struck an iceberg – the ship had three propellers – it did not have enough lifeboats – it was the same size as the Titanic – all uncanny characteristics of the Titanic even down to the name.
The author of this book was Morgan Robertson. How is it possible that the book told of a story just like the accident that would occur fourteen years later? Whether you refer to it as a vision or a premonition, the similarities between the book and the actual accident are eerily similar. Did the author write this book as a result of a premonition that he had?
We may never know. The mysteries of the mind and the universe unfold when they are ready. There is no way to know what might be ’shown’ to a person at a particular time.

It could be like some of your favorite TV series or movie that most people have watched or heard of whenever issues of paternity heats up. Clearly, most people have seen about this in the TV series and in movies or, heard in the scientific discussions in school but should they know that a friend or somebody who undergoes through this, they would not be compelled to believe themselves. Hence, they ask, why is there such a thing as a court ordered paternity test?
The morally-inclined motives come up in case a party, often the mother of the kid, would like her kid to grow up recognizing his true identity. With the aid of the test, his identity will be revealed. Theoretically, it would be done by conducting DNA sampling. In other words, the DNA is where the traits of an individual can be identified and should it fit with an example taken from anyone else, this only means that the two people are connected genetically, like a father that is related to his child. There are few people who choose to resolve this type of dispute through paternity tests that can be availed and could be conducted at home.

Scientifically, it would be done through DNA sampling. In layman’s term, the DNA is where the traits of a person are found and should it match with a sample taken from someone else, this only means that the two people are related genetically, like a father is related to his child. There are people who opt to settle this kind of dispute through paternity tests that are available readily and could be done at home. Usually, this is just to make both parties prove themselves and settle the matter. The test could be ordered by court while most of the time, it is a silent move that no one outside of the issue is able to know.
With regard to the legalities though, there are a luxury of reasons which could be deduced. The most popular of all reasons is the discernment regarding the issue of child support. As in most cases, the court ordered paternity test is requested by the mother so that his child could live the life he so deserves. The test will be a preventive measure for the mother to compel the father of the child supporting him as he grows old. The results of the tests are always correct and exact, most particularly when a third party, which is a clinic or a laboratory, is compelled by the court to do the testing, thus, there is no possibility that the result could be manipulated.
Other reason for conducting such tests would be for settling legal issues. Say, a person would want to claim his or her rights in his biological father’s properties. Though it sounds more dramatic, adopted children who are lucky enough to have found their biological parents could demand for this. On the other hand, the state could also demand for profiling the DNA of the populace.
Last of the known reasons for conducting such tests is for identifying a body. While before, burnt or decaying bodies are only identified through their dental records, now, a court ordered paternity test could be done so that it would be easier for families to identify a person who has gotten into an accident or calamity. A typical example was when this was used during the 9/11 attack. Most of the dead bodies were already in decomposition state and the families had to submit a DNA sample in order to recover their loved-one’s remains.
With the more sophisticated and scientific way of answering questions and settling problems and disputes, one could not just say that they are watching their favorite primetime drama or sci-fi series. The court shall prove to you, the real drama could be ended by letting an independent party look through your genes.
