I was reading in an advice column recently the lament of a man who asked, “Why do girls go for the bad guys?” He was a good guy, according to what he said. He treated women politely, brought them flowers and generally respected them. Then along comes a charmer who does just the opposite and wins the girl the good guy is hoping to attract.
The man needs to set his sights on a different type of woman. Most women don’t want a rude, ornery vulgar man who treats them like dirt. Only very insecure females who are a bit on the dense side would want that. Or they’ve been watching too many nasty guy movie characters like Hugh Jackman’s in Australia. Even if they find low class guys that exciting before marriage – if they manage to get them to the altar, which is doubtful – they’ll soon regret it. The excitement soon wears off and marriage becomes a nightmare. Furthermore, these kinds of guys usually want to save their marriages only to keep their women under their control.
The majority of women would die for men who don’t leer, pinch and act lecherous toward them. There is a greater chance of having a good husband if you start with a good guy. A good guy like that doesn’t unceremoniously grope for his woman’s breasts or between her legs when he pops through the door. If it is time to have sex, and he treats her with love, compassion and respect, and coax her passion to rise gradually. He leaves the gross stuff to cave men and beer guzzling jerks. The good guy usually is very much into preserving his marriage, too.
And frankly, a woman who has an ounce of sense in her body will shun the jerk and go for the guy with class, even if he isn’t all that good looking. A woman may find that she is being left by the bad boy she thought was so marvelous; or she might wish to dump him and discovers that’s not as easy as she thinks. Save your marriage? We’d say, get hooked up in a good marriage in the first place and you’ll want to save it. Already married to the bad boy? Then don’t wait until you get dumped to find a solution. All kids love cartoons, and my cute, adorable, and sweet little kids are no exceptions. I must admit I love cartoons, too. Even if we have different tastes, we spend most of our evenings watching cartoons. They love “The PowerPuff Girls”, while I’m crazy about “Dexter’s Laboratory”, so we might argue sometimes, but all arguments end with a kiss and a new cartoon.
I have tried to share with them my all-time passion for Disney cartoons, but after a few attempts I had to give it up. They fancy watching Cartoon Network more than watching Sleeping Beauty, so they convinced me to watch TV with them, even if I’m still in love with my classic Disney cartoons.
No wonder they complain of getting bored any time we get on holidays and they miss their favorite TV shows. Lately they have asked for some small gadget which could play their cartoons for them when they’re on a trip, or even during breaks, at school. I didn’t agree at first, but they know how to be very convincing, so I finished by looking up for some good mp3 player with video features.
I have come across the sansa view 8gb , which seems just perfect. Any child could easily use it, so I bought two, one for each girl, so that they wouldn’t fight on them. I loaded them up with their favorite cartoons, wrapped them, and made a beautiful surprise to my kids. Their happy dance when they opened the boxes and saw their new players was worth seeing!
They were so excited they took their new players with them everywhere. I also showed them how to load cartoons and music on their new players. Now I’m free to watch my Disney cartoons whenever I want, and I even uploaded some “Tom and Jerry” for them to watch. They seem to like them so far!

Holding an open house might help you sell your home, but it is not the most important factor to consider. Most real estate agents do not use an open house as a main tool in their marketing program. As a matter of fact, open houses are considered as a waste of time nowadays. Agents feel that having an open house is more like fishing for prospective clients and not potential buyers.
And yet, a number of homeowners and real estate agents continue the traditional practice of open houses, still firm in the belief that it will lure even a few prospective clients. On average, studies have shown that an open house can take between sixty-five to seventy-five hours before a deal is closed. Even though it takes a lot of effort and not to mention time to do such event, there are still people who go for it because of other valid reasons.
Agents you employ to sell your house may not consider an open house important because they may not regard selling your house as a top priority. They also have other listings on their mind and sometimes they do not even show your property to a specific client just because the agent thinks it is not appropriate for that certain buyer. Also, buyers can change their minds and most of the time, they do not tell the agents about it. But there are still people who prefer to find a house on their own, and that can often happen at an open house. It also should be noted that some potential buyers opt against checking out a house when they don’t see the particular details they’re seeking included in the home listing. An open house is different though. Prospective buyers will be more likely to come and look at the house then, because an open house is basically a chance to inspect the property without any obligations attached.
There are several reasons why sellers may not want to stage an open house, including the effort and cost involved. And it’s typical for sellers to gripe about their real estate agents, complaining that the agents are using the open house as a vehicle for bringing in new clients, not prospective buyers for the house itself. The safety of the house and possessions is another reason why sellers are hesitant to have an open house. They worry that their house might be vandalized or some items from their house might get stolen during an open house. Some homeowners do not want anyone to enter their house, period. Some sellers are only willing to open their house to buyers who have demonstrated a genuine interest in buying, hoping to discourage nosy neighbors from dropping by, and any potential thieves from taking advantage of the situation. Whether you favor open houses or not, sometimes it’s just easier to not stage an open house.
Here’s a bit of advice: when the real estate market is hot and houses are selling well, an open house simply isn’t necessary. Likewise, if an Internet posting listing your house is already working to attract prospective buyers, you don’t need an open house either.
