This is going to be an article about whether or not roulette systems work. Ever since the invention of the game people have been trying to devise a roulette system but most people end up failing.
So why does a roulette system fail? It is because of the advantage the casino has. This is caused by green slots, aka zeros. The ‘house edge’, as it is called, is 2.56% for European roulette; this is very tricky to overcome.
The way that many players try to overcome this edge is by using what is called a progressive roulette system. This is when you increase your bets after a loss so that when you get a win it will cover all your previous losses.
This unfortunately has left many people extremely poor. Once a losing run starts when you are using a progressive system, people place bets they can’t afford in an attempt to cover their losses and they can’t walk away easily.
There is another widely used roulette system – wheel bias. This is done by studying the wheel for a long time and registering which numbers come up more than others. You then bet on the numbers that have appeared most.
However this system is also not very reliable. If you don’t spend long enough looking at the wheel, numbers that come up more in the short term may lead you to believe that this is where the bias is when it isn’t.
The design of roulette wheels is really good nowadays, meaning there is more or less no bias in them whatsoever. Therefore, it would seem that attempting to use a bias roulette system would be a waste of time.
So, is it possible to create a roulette system that actually works? The answer is, it is extremely difficult and it’s not about to get any easier due to improving wheel designs and the ever present house advantage.

He is rattled by his meeting with a forthright American poet. The film is knowledgeable and moving, with Hopkins in top form and Winger his match. The other performers are also excellent. This was filmed on location at Oxford. Cast includes Richard Attenborough, Anthony Hopkins, Debra Winger, Edward Hardwick, Michael Denison, Joseph Mazzello, John Wood, Robert Fleming, and Peter Howell. (130 minutes, 1993)
Trading Mom: It’s about three siblings who couldn’t stand their mom. Spacek cast a spell which makes her and all memory of her vanish. Here is a flat and inanimate story with meager production values. Cast includes Sissy Spacek, Anna Chlumsky, Aaron Michael Metchik, Asher Metchik, Maureen Stapleton, and Merritt Yohnka. Forgetting Sarah Marshall: Here is a romantic comedy set in a beautiful resort in Hawaii. After being dumped by his girlfriend Sarah, he finally decides to go to Hawaii to get over the loss. Unfortunately, when he goes to check in at the resort, the first person he sees is Sarah, and of course her new boyfriend.
The Delinquents: Intriguingly terrible exploitation drama in regards to a fine boy who becomes tied up in a street gang since lady friend is too young to go steady. Cast includes Tom Laughlin, Peter Miller, Richard Bakalyan, Rosemary Howard, and Helene Hawley. (75 minutes, 1957)
Basic Instinct: Detective Nick Curren is investigating a murder. Sexy and famous author Catherine Tramell is becoming a prime suspect. She lures him into a torrid love affair. Now he struggles to resolve her guilt or innocence in the case.
Rentadick: Out of the nether-land between The Goon Show and Monty Python comes this romp written by Python buddies John Cleese and Graham Chapman, spoofing the classic private-detective films. An experimental nerve gas that paralyzes people from the waist down has been stolen, and Rentadick, Inc. is employed to track down the perpetrators. Cast includes Jim Clark, James Booth, Julie Ege, Ronald Fraser, Donald Sinden, Michael Bentine, Richard Briers, and Spike Milligan. (94 minutes, 1972)
Rocky 5: Rocky Balboa is back at it in the 5th installation of this never ending series of fight films following the rags to riches hero’s entire career. Cast includes Sylvester Stallone, Talia Shire, Burt Youthful, Sage Stallone, Burgess Meredith, Tommy Morrison, and Richard Gant. (104 minutes, 1990)
The Air I Breathe: Four overlapping, connect the dots story lines, based on a Chinese proverb and titled “Cheerfulness,” “Delight,” “Grief,” and “Love,” make up this mess of a film. Starts out promisingly, as a disgruntled office android Whitaker unintentionally figures out that a horse race has been fixed, then it inexplicably shits into a cartoon like train wreck. Cast includes Kevin Bacon, Julie Delpy, Brendan Fraser, Andy Garcia, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Clark Gregg, Emile Hirsch, Woodland Whitaker, Kelly Hu, Evan Parke, Taylor Nichols, Winner Rivers, and Jon Bernthal. (97 minutes, 2008)

Peyton Manning was unable to tie a NFL record with his sixth straight 300 yard game , but the Indianapolis Colts remained undefeated by ripping the lowly St. Louis Rams 42-6 at the Edward Jones Dome on Sunday. Manning amassed 235 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions as the Colts made short work of the winless Rams. The Colts are now 6-0 on the NFL season, while the Rams are 0-7.
NFL betting devotees who backed Indy as -14 road favorites easily won their bets as the Colts improved to 5-1 against the spread. After dropping their first game of the year to the number, Indy has run off five straight pointspread covers. The Chiefs dropped to 2-5 against the spread with the setback. The 48 points scored went OVER the posted total of 45. Kansas City has gone OVER in four of seven games this season, while Indianapolis evened their NFL totals record at 3-3.
After the game, Colts’ coach Jim Caldwell praised his quarterback:
“He functions pretty well within the system. He does a great job leading our team and being a field general. I don’t think he reached 300 yards, but nevertheless he was very effective.”
As has become his form, Manning deflected the praise onto his offensive line:
“I really appreciate the protection I’ve been getting. It’s something I don’t take for granted.”
Indianapolis tight end Dallas Clark gave kudos to the Indy fans that made the trip to St. Louis to support the team:
“We had a great following today. It was outstanding. When we were introduced it felt like a home game.”
Rams’ running back Steven Jackson sounded like a man out of answers:
“We have to learn to put four good quarters together. We don’t know how to win a game right now.”
The Colts will return home next Sunday to face a potentially tricky game against the San Francisco 49ers. They’ll remain at home for the following two games, hosting the Houston Texans the following week and the New England Patriots on November 15th. St. Louis will take on another one of the NFL’s bottom feeders next Sunday, playing on the road against the Detroit Lions. The game is currently off the board while the Lions’ quarterback injuries get sorted out. The Rams will have a much needed bye week after that before returning to action on November 15th as they host the New Orleans Saints.
