Andrew Wyeth, popular American Painter died today in his home according to the Washington Post.  Having grown up in the Philadelphia area I’ve had the privelege of seeing his work first hand and my mom even has an Andrew Wyeth print hanging in her house.

Andrew Wyeth painted realistic scenes, often of fall and winter landscapes and always of people and places he knew.  Here is one of my favorites.
